Kathryn Waters knows constituent’s voices have been heard but ignored when it comes time to vote. Kathryn wants to make sure when it comes time to cast YOUR vote for the 125th District that your needs are considered and met. Kathryn became a resident of the 125th district as a toddler and has been a resident for over 50 years.

She grew up in Lower Paxton Township, is a graduate of Central Dauphin High School, and a graduate of University of Maryland, College Park where she earned her baccalaureate degree in Political Science with a minor in Speech Communications.  A Pennsylvania licensed Attorney who earned her law degree from Widener University Commonwealth  Law School in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania.

 

Kathryn has been practicing law for 30 years where she has served in multiple capacities:

• First African American Woman Deputy District Attorney for Dauphin County

• Discrimination Attorney for  the Pennsylvania Human Relations Commission

• Federal Attorney for the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office 

• Federal Attorney for the U.S. Social Security Administration

• Transactional Attorney for the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania

• Legal Consultation Services for Women, Minority, and Disadvantaged Businesses

• Management positions for the Commonwealth  of Pennsylvania to assist businesses

                  Today, Kathryn is a private Attorney focusing on criminal defense law, family law, contract law and much more.  She has raised two adult children. As an ordained Reverend she volunteers extensively in her church and community.  Kathryn is an active member of Alpha Kappa Alpha  Sorority, Incorporated and The Links, Incorporated.
